The makers of “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi” have been leaving no stone unturned to keep viewers engrossed. In the recent episodes, Dev’s (Shaheer Sheikh) mother Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) disapproved of his marriage with Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes), resulting in the much-in-love couple’s breakup.
To keep up with the daily dose of drama and entertainment, the creators of the show, which is telecast on Sony Entertainment Television, have now planned to introduce a new angle to the love story. They would bring on board a new man in Sonakshi’s life. In fact, they have even zeroed in on a new actor
According to reports, Jay Soni has been finalised to play the new man in Sonakshi’s life. Jay, who is best remembered as Ishaan of “Sasural Genda Phool,” is expected to start shooting for the show soon.
The story will move on to show Sonakshi making an effort to start afresh in her life after the heartbreak. She will meet a new guy, Ritwick (played by Jay), who has been chosen by her father. “Jay’s character Ritwick will be a Bengali. Post break-up with Dev, Sonakshi’s will agree to move on in life and accept the alliance chosen by her father. She will decide to meet the new guy. This would kick start a new angle to the relationship,” a source told Tellychakkar.
It now remains to be seen if Sonakshi gets married to Ritwick, leaving Dev heartbroken.
Meanwhile, Shaheer and Erica were in news recently when rumours of them dating each other surfaced. Apparently, the actors spend a lot of time together on the sets, which eventually sparked the dating rumours.
However, Shaheer denied the reports, claiming that relationship and marriage are not on his mind as of now. “Erica is fun, but I am not dating her. People assume that we are dating because we spend a lot of time together on the set. I don’t intend to get into a relationship and marriage is not in the pipeline for another couple of years,” he had told the Times of India.
