Lenovo seems to be gearing up to launch the successor to its popular Vibe P1 smartphone soon. The device Lenovo P2c72, believed to be Vibe P2 was spotted in the Geekbench listings with some specifications.

If the listings are to be believed, the new smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) processor clocked at 2GHz.

The device will be backed by 4GB RAM and will run on Android 6.0.1 marshmallow out-of-the-box. Just like its precursor, the smartphone will be juiced by a huge battery. No other details about the device were revealed in the listings.

Talking of Lenovo Vibe P1, the smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch FHD IPS display with 1080*1920 pixel resolution. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It packs a 13MP rear and a 5MP front facing camera with 4G LTE support.

The company will also be launching its Lenovo K5 Note on Monday. It will come with 4GB RAM in India, instead of the 2GB which was launched in China.
