I recently came across the tragic news of an Air India flight that met with an accident in Calicut, Kerala. It was a repatriation flight under the Vande Bharat Mission, carrying passengers from Dubai. Unfortunately, upon landing at the Kozhikode International Airport, the plane overshot the runway and broke into two pieces. This devastating incident took place on August 7, 2020, and sadly, it claimed the lives of 18 people, including both pilots. Many others were injured, and the entire incident has left the nation in shock and mourning.
