National Defence Academy:
National Defence Academy is a joint services Academy of all three Armed forces. In this Academy all three means army, navy and airforce candidates get training. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts exam for National Defence Academy recruitment process. After trained here all three services the army, the Navy and the airforce candidates go to their respective academy for further training before Commissioned to their respective services. For recruitment in this Academy exam being held two times in a year normally in April and September.
It is located in khadakwasla near pune, maharashtra. National defence academy produce very professional armed personnel and till date produces 27 chiefs of services. National defence academy first tri-services academy in the world. Educational qualification for national defence academy is the candidate must pass or appeared for 12th class examination from a recognized university or board for army, navy and airforce services. The current chief of all three services the army, the navy and the airforce are from national defence academy. Nda also produce 3 param vir chakra and 12 ashoka chakra recipient.
