People are talking 'bout how they always had trouble with semicolons.
Aren't they just used to link together two sentences without using a conjunction? (Well, certain types of clauses, really– Semantics.)

I've watched this video possibly a hundred times over the last 4 years, and only just now did I get the (K)night/Young Squire joke.

The examples in the video are not semi-colons. Semi colons join two independent clauses. One word is not an independent clause. What horrifies me is that in the comments, some claim their teacher used this *as an instructional video*.
