In a shocking incident, a former international-level boxer was found murdered at his Greater Noida apartment on Friday.

According to police, 27-year-old Jeetinder Mann’s body was found with gun shot wounds at his flat in AVJ Heights, which falls under Surajpur Police Station. The police have sent the body for post-mortem.

The police further said that Jeetinder was currently working as an instructor at a gym in Alpha-1 area.

Jeetinder’s phone was switched off after he returned from the gym on January 10. A separate key of his flat was with Pritam Tokas, who also works in the same gym.

After failing to reach out to Jeetinder, Tokas on Friday went to check at Jeetinder’s flat and opened the door only to find his dead body.

Superintendent of Police, Suniti Singh, said the murderers killed Jeetinder and fled from the scene along with his mobile phone. Police said that Jeetinder’s phone has been put on surveillance and they are also scanning the apartment’s CCTV footage for more details.
